Man that looks really good - the corners are nice.
How did you do the gutter mounts?
Thanks for the inspiration. I think this is my prime path now.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how it came out and how everything mounts up there. I ended up using smittybilt gutter mounts and have t slot going across to support at the mounts. If you are buying hardware I found t-nutz to be the cheapest for the nuts and some of the mending plates. I bought 316ss button head screws through McMaster Carr to mount everything. PM if you go this route and I can give you some tips to help figure out what you need.

Unistrut comes in aluminum as well as the galvanized. Uses all the same quick nuts because the aluminum is the same profile as the galvanized.

I used 1/8 aluminum. 2" width for the face and 4" width for the tops and bottoms. 45's at 3-1/2 apart, mark the tops to cut the trapezoid, weld together, then drill your holes for the t-slot nuts. If you need more details hit me up on a pm

Great, thanks for the details. Will do if I hit a snag.

Cheap approach. Contractor Amazon bars and wood structure. Light, low profile, quiet, functional, build in awning I like how it looks and cheap.
