I did not look into the gearing because I had intended to do both axles. The CMB rear end has some shock extensions welded in place, so it seemed to make the most sense to keep everything together.

The body swap is an option I had considered, but then I lose the F.I. engine. While the 84 runs great, the F.I. is a nice option, especially at our altitudes.

Dual axles might make for better off road-ability. Not high speed tires, I guess you have to tow it on another trailer or put it on the roof rack to get to the trail....
