On further inspection, the ground wire was left...

On further inspection, the ground wire was left disconnected from the alternator install (it was actually resting on the alternator belt :e7: )

According to my mechanic friend it probably melted...

This is a remote start component, Directed electronics 454T. Thing is I don't remember it being on there when I took out the old alternator or replacing. After the guy who helped me replace didn't...
