I'm on my second trip since doing this and it seems quieter. Actually it seems bassier. I can tell that my leg doesn't get as hot either, although it's still warm down there.

The original plan was to remove the factory lining and dynamat underneath, but it turns out there is already a dynamat type treatment underneath, and I didn't want to mess with the rivits or have it...
