Daveb is had the right idea. It is like your home refrigerator, you just need to keep he dust bunnies that collect on he HX from collecting. A quick vacuum will improve he efficiency.

Probably neither. The heat rejection efficiency of the heat exchanger will be more of an issue. The HX is designed to reject a specific amount of heat at a given air flow. The filter will reduce the...
