Agreed. I'm curious how it is supported? Is it built sturdy enough to just rest on the armrests or is there a structure under it? I am going to experiment with this soon but I don't want to lose...

I like it and have thought a little about doing that too, but storage is the problem I see. I had thought of hinging it in the middle somehow so you could at least fold it in half. What's your plan...
