I've used PB to Pex, used both new Pex and reused old pb fittings, mixed and matched both fittings and pipes. It works, no leaks yet!

Glad to help. If you are in any hurry to use your van you might want to go ahead and invest in, or at least shop for, a crimper for PEX. I have no idea if there are different ones or if better...

Very good question. I would call any of the three Sportsmobile locations. They should be able to tell you that, and they may even have a petcock fitting they can send you.

It's not PEX, but it's the same size as PEX. Do you have Lowe's near you? Lowe's stocks Appolo Pex fittings (in little yellow packages, easy to find on the plumbing aisle). You'll have to get...
