How old were the tires? I had a failure on a KO that was about 4 years old with only 9,000 miles on it. I now have KO2's on the van.

Sorry. I didn't specify that. These are E rated tires and my van is a standard SMB RB50 build with a 10 gallon water tank. I haven't had it weighed yet but I would think less than 10K lbs.

These were new on the van when I picked it up from SMB in Dec. 2012. Code states 2812 so it's getting close to 5 years. It did happen on the side of the van that sees the most sun when parked.
