There is no reason to upgrade the harness with either HIDs or LEDs. Both have their own voltage regulator, so the output is constant down to about 9 volts.

Don't get me wrong... The projector kit is far better than stock. I just found it to not be as good as non-projector HIDs with the Euro lens. And they still shine less glare towards other drivers...

I pulled up my shipping receipt. The actual part I used was: Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (D2S)

I also had their ballast burn up on me. I didn't bother getting it warranteed since I didn't...

I did the full retrofit source conversion using the moto minis. Did not like it. There was ZERO light above the cutoff line (which was also too low) which made even reading street signs impossible...
