I think the idea was to see what the range of pressure change occurred in your tires from cold to hot, and if it's possible a large enough swing in pressures over a period of time could have caused...

Right, my point was, hot or cold that's still very high, tire pressures only change so much dependent on ambient air temp or whether you've been moving or not. Assuming they were they set at 70-75...

78 psi is quite high, esp when cold, remember as tires warm the pressures increase which would put it at or beyond max pressure assuming they are rated at 80. Tire pressures have been discussed in...
