They should have done a dye and pressure test. If it's under warrantee let them do whatever but if not I would make sure it's really the compressor. It depends if you trust your local Ford...

Ken do you have a scan gauge? I'm having some trouble with my AC since Ford worked on my engine. I do have the 6.0 PSD so it might not apply to you but I'm noticing when the radiator reaches about...
