It's the same hitch. The trailer Mfg welded it on the one end and I would have rather had it set up to be removable.

Actually I’m referring to the welded tongue section on the trailer.
My thought is if for some reason I lost or damaged any part of the hitch system itself. I would have to purchase another hitch to...

This is the problem end. You'll have to weld this portion on or what I would rather have, a receiver on this end that would enable you to use different applications.

My thing is "why are there no good Jeep trailers". If I had the capability to build something to tow a Jeep on a high clearance trailer it would be done! Same tires as the SMB and hell, the same...
