The new Ford engine (long block with injectors, oil/EGR coolers, etc) was $10,215. Labor depends on many factors.

If it is any consolation, the crate motor will come with all the latest upgrades - including new injectors. I'm happy with my new 6.0 (but not the dent it put in my wallet).
