Oh, well in that case...I'm on my way to the junkyard right now! My clients didn't need this document finished today, anyway. I'll just keep that axle safe and warm for you until you are ready to snag it for your rig.

Which tuner did you go with (Livewire TS+ of X4)? I know when I installed my TS+ it made a noticeable difference on my 5.4. Now just am waiting till I start pulling my boat in May. I'm looking forward to seeing the benefits.

I went X4 and cheaped out a bit vs the Livewire. Still pumped though. Have heard zero bad things save for a guy who had a bunch of custom transmission work done and the tune didn't jive with the custom stuff. Talked to a guy the other day with a 5.4l and he loves loves loves it.

Can't wait to see what it does to the 6.8l and after this thread I am rethinking my choice of staying 3.73. But I think the tuner will make some things A-OK.

How does a tuner effect warranty? Speaking of which, won't I need to recalibrate speedo with a tuner after my gear swap?

Usually a tuner = no warranty if they know about it.
