For sale: Renovated 2006 Sportsmobile Classic 4x4 RB50

Asking $130,000 OBO.

A beast on the outside, but cush and homey on the inside with super low miles (<43,000)! This is a one-of-a-kind Sportsmobile with the recent (2021), custom interior renovation that left no expense spared (~$25k in materials). It was originally built out by Sportsmobile in Fresno, but the recent renovation was custom. This has been a dream of a camper van for us living in UT and CO. The only reason we're selling is because we need the money more than we need an adventure vehicle now that we have a little one

Ford E350 RB with 6.0L Diesel engine

Reach out with any questions!

Wow... great looking interior. A couple questions... what engine does it have and what is the selling price? A lot more exterior pics would be helpful as well.

whoops! I've updated the original post with the asking price of $130,000. I admit, this has been a tough number to come up with, but it seems reasonable based on researching other used SMBs around the web and what folks are asking for them. The engine is a 6.0L diesel and the van was originally built by Sportsmobile in Fresno, but the recent renovation was custom. Here is a link to more photos (I can work on getting some undercarriage pics in there soon):

Any work on the engine, like the extent of any bulletproofing completed?

I didn't have any done, and I don't know of any done by the previous owner.

Definitely interested to hear constructive and informed discussion around the asking price too. I'm realizing 130 might be high for the 6.0 without bulletproofing (and maybe some other factors - what else in your opinion?), but not clear how far off I might be. Folks on here have probably kept a closer eye on the recent market than I have.

Generally speaking, most forum admins frown on discussing price of a vehicle that has been submitted for sale by the actual forum member.
It can get ugly real fast.
If the ad was copied and pasted from somewhere else, then it is open game.
I would recommend that OP have opinions on price be sent via private message.
Very nice looking vehicle.

Thanks. Makes sense. That said, I'd certainly welcome a PM with any constructive and informed feedback on price. I'm considering offering a buyer credit (up to $10k maybe) to have it bulletproofed. It seems to run very smoothly though and only has ~43k miles.
