I'm just saying for the $50k the guy was asking originally you could get a pretty clean 4x4 50 layout SMB. Maybe even with the 7.3.

No disrespect, but I would love to see a 7.3 4x4 with the 50 layout for 50k....
Times have changed, and those are now mid 60s in rough shape.

There has been one on (and off due to her flippancy) of here for months that I listed for a friend. She has a deposit on it now finally. It's the cleanest EB50 7.3l I've ever seen, no exxageration.

In the Vanagon world, any van with that treatment is immediately suspected of having seam rust or rocker panel rust unless proven otherwise.

Well I guess that's the way we think in Cali go big or go home! We Rhino line our rockers because we like to try and keep the salt from our beach drives in Baja and Pismo from making our rockers look like swiss cheese rockers like the ones from our brotherly love cities. Another reason so we do not have to wash it as much because of pretty much year round sunshine! You know what we say surf in the morning and ski in the afternoon then camp in the desert dunes tonight! But yeah it is highly priced, is it even 4x4? I think it is V8 if so way high!

The Ford does have drip rail issues but not so much on the rockers. My Jeep is Rhinoed to aid in shrub scratch control, I will do my rockers and top when i get around to it on my van, wow 17 years later I still trying to get them done!

that price could be conceivable IF it was 4x4 converted already and had the 7.3. When I was looking a month or so ago there was one on SMB West that was the same year, same set up -- lifted no 4x4 -- few more miles with a high top, the 7.3 and aluminess bumpers and it was 35k -- so yea this seems high to me (the listing is still there for those curious to compare, but its now sold)

There were a couple for sale on RVTrader last year, both in the $25K range. They were listed for months.

Just because they are still listed doesn’t mean they aren’t already sold. Dealers leave ads up to drive calls and then try to cross-sell.
