What about this one? Should have some budget left for a kitchen or something in the back. HAs aluminess stuff, sounds like some motor work has been done on the 6.0, has a 4x4 system, single owner etc. Good flooring, sienna seats.
The more I looks, the more impressed I am. If you can build a kitchen/kids bed below for $5k or less, you would have a sweet rig for the budget you set.

... Notice how he doesn't show any of what the drivers side looks like..? Probably means nothing and he just neglected the picture... But meets expectations that CL postings are seldom ever "complete" or "accurate". FWIW I've seen this van for sale for a while. Can't remember exactly how long, but for quite some time. Maybe a month or two.
Always wondered how a bed in an RB would fit (And still have room for cabinets, 4 captains chairs, etc). Maybe for short people? (Coming from someone who's 6'8-6'9... ).
Still intrigued by the idea of van as tow vehicle with possibility for a trailer. Seems like having some full-size amenities would be nice, also hear that the RB's tow better than the EB's.
Looks nice, probably a solid deal if it is what the OP wants.

He is talking about reducing the price, so i would guess he didn't have any bites over $50k or wherever the price was. I think you could fit a nice bed in there if you're tall, but then no room for a kitchen. Sounds like it has a furnace heater, so that's nice. If you could get it around $40k, that would be a pretty sweet deal, then just dial in a bed and kitchen.
Adults should sleep upstairs anyway, views and breeze are much nicer.

@OP: Saw this posted by another forum member earlier today.

TL: DR---
2009 Quigley E-350 RB. 6.0 Diesel. 25K mi. Lots of "extras". Listed as EB, looks like RB. it has a high top rather than a pop-top which might be an issue for you.
Price- $38K. Would make a good candidate for a tow rig for a trailer, however.
I'll fall in line and say 6.0 diesels probably aren't as bad as I think they are...

Here is another good one. $5k over budget, and a 6.0 but everything that you want. I would say he is very close to market price.

Maybe you'd be interested in my rig for sale? Not a Sportsmobile, but 4x4 with 4 captains chairs, sleeps 4, etc.
Listing link below, asking $40,000 but would consider reasonable offers.
Happy to answer any questions or provide more info if you're interested.

That list of mods is like Merry Poppins' bag... it just doesn't end...
What is the "Ford preferred equipment package" on an Econoline?
I've always wondered if there was a top-notch resource out there on Econoline vans about what options were offered, how much they cost, what was included, years offered, etc.
Personally I like that the windows aren't excessive, you retain privacy.
Only thing I saw that I thought might be questionable was leafs all the way around... Don't coils ride better and (at least on steer axles) allow a sharper/smaller turning radius? My 1997 has coils in the front, no leafs...
Edit: oh, and the $6500 worth of electronics and audio... bet that thing can play some tunes
