WTS: 2010 RB50 Sportsmobile 4X4 40k miles $85k/offer

Finally ready to list our SMB.

2010 RB50 SMB 4x4 just over 40k miles 6.8 V10 $85,000
Clean Title: In Hand

Electric top
Aluminess Bumpers
Warn Winch
Propane Heater
ARB front air locker
Atlas Transfer Case
Isotherm 12v fridge
Has Sink but no cooktop
Build list and sheet pictured

Few things to consider:
We spent 6 years in the Puget Sound so there is a small amount of surface rust (pictured)

Roof hardware also has surface rust but new stainless hardware is included.

Small tear in marine floor (pictured) which has been glued. We used a rug because we hated the floor anyway.

The van just threw a P0442 code which is a small evap leak. I’ve replaced the gas cap and reset the code. Issue will be resolved before the van is sold.

There are some scratches on the side of the van due to a bear trying to get in.

Van is located in Steamboat Springs, CO about 3 hours west of Denver.
Pricing is all over the place these days so we’re listing at $85,000 with room for negotiation.

Thanks.

I did not know that SMB itself builds leaf spring 4x4 front conversions. Like Ujoint does.

SMB developed their own 4X4 and was an option alongside the Quigley 4X4 they had been using for years starting in 2003, I believe by ‘04 they phased out Quigley and only offered their own as the standard 4X4 option available.
SMB’s first offerings utilized OME (old man emu) springs and shocks and an Atlas transfer case, the ride was reportedly pretty harsh, they made drastic improvements over the years, incorporating Dynatrac axles, Deaver spring option, and I think Bilstein shocks.

Sorry to derail…..nice rig, GLWS!

Thanks for the clarification. I can confirm, the ride can be pretty harsh on washboard roads but everywhere else it’s butter.

What REF posted is correct although many, many Quigley or QuadVan based 4x4 rigs also found their way through SMB. I believe the 4x4 conversion SMB offered with leafs and Atlas TC was only through Fresno and was significantly more expensive than the other alternatives.

GLWS!
