New Grey Water Vent
Just installed a new 360 Grey Water Vent on the van. I am a full timer and the stock SMB grey water vent looks great and is low profile, but for its purpose it does not work very well, I have tried all before this upgrade. If anyone has any order at all this is the best fix. The vent does stick out a few inches but I painted it with Fusion Plastic Paint to bled in. I sacerficed the low profile vent for no more orders, I will take the it!
If any one would like to see picture's of the Mod. let me no and I can send you some via email. I am trying to figure out my new Computers resizing.
Here is the web site to see the vent......

I've never had any issues with my grey water vent (yet). What was happening with your old one?

Well I am a full timer and if you ever spent some serious time in a RV/SMB
Grey water can start to smell. With high winds as a windsurfer and testing
gear in very windy places you can get that great smell pushed right in the SMB. Now no more smell so just wanted to share my findings. I also changed the black water vent also.

Hmmm, yeah -- there has always been a slight funk in the van when we're using it for a while, but I always thought that was something to do with the portapottie. But yes, it could very well be the greywater.

Yaaa for sure I thought I had a dead critter but with some investigation found it to be my vent's. It was a two year deal trying to get fix the problem and now its fixed with the 360 vent............

Perhaps I'll just keep a stopper in the sink hole for now.

I might give the drain plug a try. If my next trip doesn't smell, that's the problem
If it is the gray water, I'm guessing what's happening is that with bouncy driving, the liquid that would normally be sitting in the drain trap (which is designed to block any stinky air with that liquid) gets sloshed past the trap into the greywater tank.

I don't put anything in my grey water tank but toothpaste and Dr. Bonner's, so smell hasn't been a problem.
