Some vans are uglier than others, but I wouldn't consider any of them particularly "attractive". The Transit looks a lot better than the Fiat. About the same as a Sprinter. As much as I like the E-series, I wouldn't consider those attractive either. Nor any of the similar GM or Dodge vans.

I've started seeing AWD Transits and Sprinters around the New England area. As much as I like the idea, I still debate the trade-offs on fuel efficiency, cost and ride height.

But man are they UGLY!
Every new car is ugly. For me, I mean literally every new car! The new domestic pickups are the worst looking ones ever produced. The new Honda sedans look like hideous little space ships. The new Jeep JL is the most anemic, un-tough looking Jeep ever made. Let's not even get in to the tiny little entry level sedans that look like they drove right out of a Pixar movie.

It takes me a few years to adapt to new vehicles. Some never improve. Some improve only with lots of mods. I think this is the only hope for the Transit. I love everything about them but the skateboard (stock) wheels and the big Snoopy nose but it has NOT grown on me and looks the worst in the most common color, white.

All just my opinion, of course, but I have apparently taken the leap to full on curmudgeon. I embrace it. New vehicles are ugly and only more reliable and enjoyable in theory.

YMMV.
