HAM radio mounting location

Am looking for photos of your HAM radio installations in your van. Currently my Kenwood TM-281 is mounted to the headliner just in front of the map light. I thought it would be a good location but it is causing other problems. Have any of you found a better location? Photos would be appreciated.

Larrie, not sure if you're looking for HAM radio specific and/or CB radio installation. For what it's worth, here's a pic of my SMB factory installed CB. As for its usefulness, I really haven't used it in the past couple years other than traveling the occasional road with active logging operations.

That is about where mine is currently mounted. Unfortunately the RF interference is to much for some other devices in the same area. Unfortunately the other items cannot be moved so need to move the radio.
