Re: Portable shower shelter

Interesting. I'd seen that super high price thing before as well. I think it may have something to do with showing up in searches, and in more places than just eBay. I guess there's no way to have an "out of stock" message in eBay, even though it seems only a shrinking fraction of listings are actually auctions.

Re: Portable shower shelter

Just picked up that one from Cabela's. I like the fact that it has a small zippered opening to feed the shower wand through

On Amazon $18.36 If you can stand the print. It does not have a floor.

Re: Portable shower shelter

Looks like these are back in stock at a good price again. In fact, I think that's less than I payed. I can't say enough good things about this shelter. Get em while they last.

Most likely for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).. If they lose the page URL because they have no auction, they won't get the same URL and lose a bunch of sway with Google on search results. That said I'm no expert on eBay, but I'm sure they have a better way of handling this issue than jacking up the price.

Cabela's has it online for $10 off their regular price: $44.99 vs $54.99

Re: Portable shower shelter

We have and continue to use many different Shower Enclosures including Pah Que , both sizes of the Cabelas units , Pett , and the Zodi products and I have to say that the vast majority of the time the enclosure of choice for our large outdoor family is the inexpensive little Trekker they are just quick to employ as well a very easy to deal with footprint . They can be Guyed very easily and we have found them less prone to mildew because of the storage and thinness of the material .

Re: Portable shower shelter

Wondering why I do not hear about more people opening the rear doors and just showering there, possibly with a simple curtain to cover the bits? With a gravity fed system I cannot imagine water splash is a big deal and I assume most cases we are referring to boondocking style showers?

My SMB is far from pickup, so I am trying to be ready when that day comes. Sorry if this seems a n00b question.
