Pretty awesome program you have there. Are you thinking you’ll cut the body like on Toyota high clearance bumpers? Is the bumper going to be steel?

Still undecided on that part of it. Initially, that was my plan, but looking closer at it I am thinking that might not work great considering that area is made up of an inner body panel and the outer body panel joining at the bottom pinch weld. I need to spend some more time looking at the van to decide if it makes sense to cut it or not. As for the construction material I am also undecided on that. I have no experience with aluminum welding so my initial reaction would be steel, but obviously, that will make it much heavier.
