Just joined the forum to message you. I have a 96 E150 4x4 and live in Portland. I bought it with nothing except the 4x4 and lift. I did the rest of the conversion. When I was done I weighed it and am just over the stock rear end (ford 8.8”) weight rating. I want to swap it out for ¾ ton ford rear end. I don’t have a preference between the Dana 60 or the Sterling. I would prefer the full float though. After weeks of research I learned that I need a van rear because the diff is just off center because the engine is off center to make room for the petals. You mentioned a while ago in the forum that you have and a place that could build an axle. And chance you could share that contact info? Also, if you have any advice or suggestions I’m all ears.
