I have an 06 also. Just replaced the ball joints at 84,000 miles. Went stock, like Pat.

If I'd read up on this I might have gone Dynatrac too. If I'm still alive when it hits 160K I'll try them!

Scan gauge is reading 12.9 - 13.1v while Mark PV panel reading 13.3 - 13.4 with van running

Nothing is more crucial than changing the oil frequently. Coolant also. Grade of each is important. Use the factory spec coolant and a premium grade motor oil such as Delo.
