Re: N FAB Nerf bars - steps

If you want an AMP Powerstep that is customized as a kit for the Ford Van, here is a link. FYI, when I called Amp Research, they gave me this guy's number. This is a third party. I will be...

Re: New Sportsmobile, follow Supertank in the Supervan

The little hill that I could not get by is in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah. Last night we spent the night in White River National Forest in Colorado. On the way back I went up a little hill...

Re: New Sportsmobile, follow Supertank in the Supervan

The observer, the wife, who was standing on only one side, said she saw both front and rear spinning. I'm getting the locker and of course will disconnect the sway bar next time. Thanks to all for...

Re: New Sportsmobile, follow Supertank in the Supervan

I did not undo the sway bar. That might have worked but it was 105 degrees out and even my attempt with the winch was half ass and cut short because it was just easier to turn around.

I didn't...

Re: New Sportsmobile, follow Supertank in the Supervan

Low range was the only thing I tried. The opposite wheel in the front would just spin. Hence, the theory that a locker would have probably helped a lot. A diesel might have had better power...

Picked up our 2011 Sportsmobile last month and we headed off to Utah and beyond from San Diego. My dog keeps a blog of our adventures. This is a link to the oldest posting from about a week ago. ...

Re: RV Fuel Cell: Is This the Future of Off Grid Power?

Since EFOY warrants it for 3 years I would imagine the thing will last quite a long time. How long is anyone's guess. I think the only moving parts have to do with the ventilation/cooling (fans). ...

Re: RV Fuel Cell: Is This the Future of Off Grid Power?

I bought one of these a couple of months ago to put into my new rig. I will post a complete installation report when I get my rig next week. I pick it up from SMB on the 6th of June.

I am no...

Re: Anyone using a tankless water heater?

It will depend on what other electrical draws you will have going at the same time. I would think you will need at least (and this very well could be insufficient) a 2,000 watt genny to run that on...

Re: Anyone using a tankless water heater?

Is a 33deg temp boost adequate?
[/quote]

I want to piggy back onto the 33 degree question. The way this heater works is it raises the temperature if the water a max of 33 degrees? So if it's 50...
