If weight is a concern and wood screws into the bottom won't cut it, removing the fabric and foam is pretty straight...

I'm 6'2", wife 5'4". I've been cramped & she needed a booster pad.


Stock seat to swivel base bolts are metric. 15mm socket worked fine.
I bought m10x1.5x60mm Rod Couplers to attach...

I keep all my fuses & relays lubed with dielectric grease, but I agree, that won't completely negate the contacts being wiggled about.

My 1998 E350 V10 has a 30A fuel pump relay fuse in the PDB (power distribution box) under the hood.
I just now pulled that fuse and the engine will not start. Just cranks.

I slabbed down I-5 from Santa Rosa on Tuesday. 550 miles and 'Lurch' (my wife named it..) kept my speed at 70-75 and still beat the crap outta me....
