What is the wheelbase on your vehicle? Wondering if short or long wheel base perform better in the wind. Also, wondering if the low-roof is much better.

Thanks. If I get the penthouse, it wouldn't be for the extra sleeping room. It would be for more headroom and openness at the campsite. But I'm wondering if the closed in feeling of the high-roof...

Don't know much about lowering floors. But for any given amount of interior height, the RAM Promaster will have a significantly lower exterior height than a Sprinter. Detailed specs can be found...

The RAM ProMaster has front wheel drive. One of its big selling points is it's lower floor with a load height of 21 inches. That's 6 or 7 inches lower than Sprinters and E-Series.

Okay, I've done a lot of tent camping and am very comfortable with my setup.

Honda Accord v6 (24 mpg city/hwy average)
10X10 Canvas tent.
Cot with air mattress.
duffle bags, plastic bins....
