I don't know... But I doubt cops know either - and I'd hate to try an explain it... it may vary from state-2-state as well? It sounds like there's a bunch of contradictory information out there,...

Re: 2006 sportsmobile transformer

4x4 conversion is $12k-18k, depending on provider and options. Plus another $2k for wheels and tires. Plus $5k for Aluminess. So that '04, if you could get it for $35k, is now $52k-58k, and you've...

Re: 2006 sportsmobile transformer

They are 'selling' for around 35-45K, depending on mileage and the 6.0 bulletproofing.

They are 'listed' for around 60-70K.

Re: 250 vs 350, 4x4 conversion?

So, I buy a quigley 4x4, and stick a SMB PH on it - that's essentially a 'transformer' -

Except for the sink... (I'm not looking for a stove) However, the additional power (DC) requirements seem...

Re: 2001 GMC Sportsmobile w/ PH, 2wd $23,500

Did you ever look into that 4x4 conversion? Is it difficult on a '01 3500/5.7 GMC?

Does anyone know if it realistic at all to remove that toilet/shower?

Thanks,

BM

Re: Heaviest load in a V8 Smb

It depends quite a bit on where you are and what you're towing over...! If you're going over passes of course it's a different world...

If you're working with boats, concentrate on wheelbase -...

Re: 250 vs 350, 4x4 conversion?

Thanks all.

So, the 5.4/E250 on a RB is probably enough power. In an EB situation, I'd assume the V10 is the only realistic engine. On the diesel's the 7.3 is heaven, the 6.0 is ample - but...
