What is that circuit used for and why did SM bother when Mercedes provides a point to pick off power from the alternator. Terminal 30 is located on a distribution bus under the drivers seat.

Yes, the Magnum BMK has worked well as have all other systems. The issue is that when a system fails and the documentation is lousy the repair becomes a nightmare. I have been lucky.
