Agreed. I was basically talking about home or side of the road repairs. If I get buried offroad I'm screwed anyway. I have 2 bottle jacks but no winch and no hi lift. If I did a lot more...

I (and others on the forum) use the three ton combo jack /stand... but still need a bottlejack to get the first few inches in a fully-flattire situation. This thread discusses much of the issue

Hi-Lifts make great trotline weights, or they can be used for ballast... much heavier than bilge water :b8:
