Someone then is wrong or misinformed. The "photo" paper is by no stretch of the imagination "veneer."

I know for a fact I do not have veneer. When I picked the cabinets I thought it was veneer but...

So it is a 3mm or so wood veneer?

Wonder what it would cost to redo my cabinets?

I thought the cherry was a vineer over real wood and lighter. The oak like I have is not vineer but paper over particle board. We easily scratched thru it :a6:

I was told the cherry won't swell...

Don't get the oak. It is just paper.

If I had an extra 20k I would have all my cabinets replaced with the dark cherry or do what Bill W. did.
