I don't think there are too many rednecks in the Bay Area building $100k Airstream hybrids. Probably an engineer who wanted a challenge and had plenty of disposable income :-)

That's actually pretty cool, and looks to be nicely constructed. I'd be worried about the joint between the cab and the body, though. Just waiting to get a leak there once it starts flexing.
