And just to end this, it is called Bearhat Mountain near Hidden Lake just south of Logan Pass in Glacier NP. A sat and map view shows the road where the shot was taken.

Wow, I'm impressed, wvvan, nicely done! Which search engine did you use to do that? I tried a couple of other suggestions that did not work. With that origin I'm wondering where I really snagged...
