85-140 will be full synthetic, so that's good. I've never had an issue with Mobile-1 foaming. I'm sure there's stuff that's better, but I wouldn't not drain it out if that's what was used.

Yup. That's definitely the diff breather.

It's not normal to vent oil though, unless you put your van on its side. Or if it was overfilled and is foaming from being churned by the carrier.

Did you smell it? Could it be fuel residue? Once you leak enough fuel, it does leave an oily residue after the lighter VOCs evaporate. I ask because it looks like that's your Evap purge solenoid...
