Temps stay the same, incl transmission. But I do have a large cooler because the Buckstop+lights did increase trans temps with the stock cooler. Carrying bikes up front does mess with the Windshield...

I haven't seen anything. That is one reason I put the rack on the front, even when not towing. That, and the lower load height. Rear is tall enough its no longer a 1-person job.

It is rated for 1000 pound if using a weight distribution hitch. Nearly every production truck out there has a 500 pound limit when using a weight carrying hitch, instead of a weight distribution...

Yes, but my receiver is rated for 6,000 pounds of tongue weight, so even with the extension required to clear the tire and carrier, I don't have to worry about overloaded the receiver. A stock...
