It looks like the everstar is capable of being ducted, so you still mount it in the back but duct the warm air up front. Would that help?

I believe it is a RIVA safety rule not be within 36" of filler. Look for response from John K on this post. https://www.sportsmobileforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2246
