I'll need to check them. I've had issues with other trailers with lights not working. My toy hauler lights work fine with the 7 pin (last I checked) and my van lights work fine.

Thanks! I bought the 40975 thinking I could unplug my factory plug and plug it in. I didn't realize the factory plug was hardwired. I'll take a look at the 40985.

I have an adaptor but it doesn't fit very well (kind of loose). Would rather just eliminate the adaptor and get the dual plug hard wired in. I see UJoint do a lot of them.

I'm wanting to update my trailer plug to have both the 4 pin and 7 pin plugs. I attempted to take my factory 7 plug out but it's hardwired into the plug. The wiring harness goes to two clips/plugs...
