In remote villages high in the mountains the natives can have some ancient customs. It is possible they actually violated a sacred place without knowing it. Or, some other campers had come through...

I really enjoyed our trip to Peru. Great people, good food and a lot of fantastic sites to see. Been in that village, but we were in a small group (14) with a local guide and bus driver. I don't hink...
