Yeah, that's not an unusual story if trying to finance a used Sportsmobile. Some people have had success getting a loan, but many people use a personal loan or a home equity line of credit.

BTW, if you take a look at it, ask to remove the beauty cap on one of the rear wheels and see if the "hub" sticks out. That indicates a full float axle which would be desirable for strength. I'm sure...
