I broke a cast aluminum wheel (cracked half way between the rim and the dish) and need a replacement. I am not sure what company made it. The wheel was installed when I had the 4X4 conversion done in 2005 at SMB West. If anyone recognizes it and has one or two laying around and are willing to ship them to Tucson let me know.
I would say "AR" American Racing Rims the only problem is everybody make's a rim that kinda looks like this after the Original Alcoa rims which most cant afford.
Here's a couple of pictures of sets of "AR" Ive had. looks just like yours.
Hope this helps.

Usually on the inside of a wheel is the manufacturers name and the ratings for the wheel. See what the wheel is rated for and compare that to the weight of your van. Don't be surprised if your van has more weight on the wheel than it is rated to carry.
I'd get a forged rim, maybe a full set. A Sportsmobile is pretty heavy for cast wheels, especially since one has already failed.

Thanks for the links. I forgot to mention in my original post that the wheels are a 16X8.
SMB has used Discount Tire as a source for most of the weels and tires at their shop in Fresno. Peter said that they have not had any problems with this series of wheels. I talked to the people at DT and they cannot say who made the wheels that they put on the vans 5 years ago - although now they do track all of the wheels and tires they sell to SMB.
I now have it in a DT shop in Tucson. The rating that is cast on the back side of the wheel is 3600# which exceeds DOT standards for a 16" wheel. DT pulled the tire off and it looks like it is an American Eagle(?). From what they are telling me, most after market wheels are guaranteed for life so they will cover the replacement cost.
I weighed my van two years ago and it was around 8500# fully loaded. So far the opinion is that the wheel was flawed. I am just glad it did not shatter while we were driving down I-10.
If I cannot find a replacement we may have to buy a full set. Ebay vendors are set up to ship so we may be forced to take that route.
Consensus is AR but I was told that ARs are produced in the US and these are marked "Made in China". My spare is working out OK but I don't want to get too far off the road without a spare. If DT takes another week to find a replacement, I may have to go with a rim that looks like mine. If someone has moved up to a 36" tire, has a set of 16X8 wheels (with the appropriate offset for an '03 SMB) in the back of their garage and would be willing to sell one or two of the rims that look like mine let me know.
