Re: Saggy butt fix for Quigley conversion?

We had a custom spring shop (catering mainly to truck owners) build and add one additional spring on each side which worked well.

I'm using these:

http://www.activesuspension.com/

Doesn't cure cancer and result in world peace like the website implies, but they worked to bring the rear of my van level and keep it level even with some really high trailer tongue weights.

Thanks guys - I've contacted Deavers and am working with them to purchase some new springs.

Yeah they are not the cheapest option but getting rid of the lift block is a big plus, because the spring can articulate rather than bending past being flat.

Make sure you have shocks that have enough travel and/or bump stops. (the bump stop arm is built into the lift block that Deaver removes. There are threads on here. I haven't added one yet.

Re: Saggy butt fix for Quigley conversion?

I have a 3 in block in the rear but it looks saggy and needs to come up another inch and a half. I was quoted $1,333 for custom springs (twice what I had assumed it would run ) Is this the going rate?!

Re: Saggy butt fix for Quigley conversion?

Our custom springs, built for us by National Spring run under $1000.00. I do think you would be happy with our $325/pr add-a-leafs as mentioned above in this thread.
