Crawl underneath and check the bolts

Actually I do spend time underneath the Sprinter but apparently not enough. Wednesday I discovered had lost a bracket on my sway bar which basically made it useless.

The bushing was still there, hanging from the sway bar so I don't think it had been missing very long. You can see where it had been making contact with the spring.

Having never driven the Sprinter without one in the high winds of the East Bay, I found out how much better the Sprinter does with a heavy duty sway bar. I had a miserable trip back from Rocklin.

Moral is get underneath. If you don't have a lot of clearance (my waistline, not the Sprinter) use some ramps.

2008 2500 Sportsmobile West conversion, badged Mercedes, 22B package, accessory group, adjustable idle control, sway bar upgrade, koni shocks, daily drive.
