Aluminess Tire Rack

Hi friends,

My Aluminess tire rack arrived today and after 35 minutes I succeeded in removing the dreaded hinge pin.

Yes, there is a new dent below the hinge area because my old eyes are not what they used to be. But swinging that short handled 5 lb maul was fun. lol.

My question, there are 2 straps for the upper hinge support. I have a 2012 E150 grocery getter/ weekend camper cargo van. Can any of you save me time and tell me which one to use so I don't have to assemble, disassemble etc.

The rear bumper is stock, OEM. All I am doing is installing the Aluminess tire rack.

thanks in advance

Thanks snomad. Mine were not labeled. I'll go with the short one and hopefully won't have to run the new bolt in and back out more than once.
