Door seals are listed as pre-04 and post-04 in most catalogs but the new part number supercedes the old part number. Which makes sense because all the steel is the same.

This isnt like how Lexus does nicer/more seals than Toyota on the same chassis. These are jus crappy work vans after all.

I don't recall where I was told or read that there was a difference between the cargo and passenger van gaskets that came from the factory.
I do know that when I taped a secondary row of insulation about 1 or 2 inches behind the factory gasket, I did not have a dust issue with the rear door. I installed the tape several feet up the sides of the door jam. The factory gasket is still in good condition, but it never sealed completely so I just added a secondary line of defense.

Thanks for the part #'s. Picked up a set. The dust gets in but seemingly other places besides the barn doors.

Do your rear doors have the thin plastic seals in between the interior trim panels and the interior door sheet metal? When we had a van with open rear doors (no trim) it was way way dirtier than our passenger van with a full interior and the plastic weather lining inside the doors.

If I understand correctly, then yes there is a plastic seal or trim piece that the weather stripping presumably seats against when the door is closed.
