Pimpon storage hatch

Where can we find the inspection hatch that you had on the side of your Van?

Vincent,
That particular hatch door was a Sportsmobile design, unfortunately that hatch is not available anymore.
Does your van already have the hole cut at that location? If not, you may have other options:

The measurements of the hatch door you have identified in the picture is 31" wide X 7.5" tall

I have not come across anything in this size - most of the longer ones that you find conducting s search prove to be twice as tall as the original, so maybe you place two smaller ones side be side??? Also, the original access door had a slight curve which matched the body curvature on the Van - not sure you'd find something similar - but someone with skills'' (as you) may be able to 'finesse' a metal hatch door to accomplish the same.

EDIT: You might also consider a Marine (boat) access hatch:

You'll just have to search for a size that would work for you.

***Hopefully someone else on the Forum has knowledge of another option which would prove a better fit.

Manchester makes tanks with side fittings for use with hatches like above...

...and Manchester also makes tanks for vans that have fittings lower on the side.....kinda side/bottom.

I used the "van" style since I didn't want to have a hatch.

See it here starting in post 189:

I can refill the tank even when it's not lowered......I haven't had to lower it in a long time.

Thank you for your response guys and your help once again with the links because we sometimes spend more time looking than working on the Ford I don't have a hole for the hatch on mine so I'm going to wait

Vincent, while looking for something else, I just came across this access door - very close in size to the one you referenced in the picture...just another 'option' to consider.
