Im in Vancouver WA and would be interested in taking a look at it if its not too late. Was this originally made by Aluminess?
This is our swing arm, but the weld shown at the bottom hinge was not done by Aluminess. We do want to make sure whoever does get this arm has a piece that is safe to install and safe to take on and off road. If the new owner would like a proper Aluminess repair, please reach out to us. We can work with the new owner on a fast and very affordable repair.
Thought I would post some pics of the repaired box. After repairing the broken joint on the Aluminess swing arm I attached the box and swing arm to my existing steel bumper. I needed a place for the swing arm to latch so made a box to go into the center section of the existing bumper. Made it into a storage box with lid like the Aluminess bumpers have. Worked great hauling 4 bikes and gear on a recent trip. Still need to figure out paint or powdercoat for the whole assembly but its functional!

Nice work! Now you just need to get the tire carrier and my fold down seats for the bed.
