Looking for a Ford E series passenger side load door sill plate

Hi Folks,

I'm getting the interior redone on my 2002 E350 and I am finding a part on back order and no future date that it may be available.

I have the double swing doors on the passenger side of my van, and the door sill, or scuff plate needs replacing. This is the plastic protector that you step onto as you climb in the side doors. My interior is pretty stock, so I can use the OEM one, but none of the dealers here can get it.

I know a lot of folks have remove this or made their own, does anyone want to sell their old one, if it is in good condition? I live in Maine, but I am willing to pay for any help in getting one here before the end of Feb!

Sometimes FPG shows parts for sale but they are in fact discontinued. You then will have to search for other dealers that might have old stock, but eBay is usually more readily available just watch price + shipping costs.

Well, just an update, FPG canceled my order, saying it was unavailable, so that's out. However, a poster reached out to me, and said they had one they could ship. Hopefully not a scam, but I had a bad feeling after I sent money.

Yeah that's sketchy. I've had a couple of those messages as I've been trying to find a part on the forum over the years. It's tempting when you're not having much luck but...
