Anyone passing through Portland into California?

I'm looking to purchase a part from Quadvan in Portland but they wont ship it. If anyone is passing through Portland and into California in the near future and would like to help me out, please let me know.

I live half way between LA and SF right off of the 101 freeway, but I would be willing to meet you wherever you may be traveling through.

What size of part are we talking? I might be able to help with shipping, depending if bigriver can't help.

Its a transferflow gas tank. Its 84x30x28, but I don't know the weight.

Heh... I guess that's going to be a little out of our transport ability. Darn

Whoa, is that the size of their typical tank, or is that something extra special?

A larger tank is on my list and I'd be running into the same delivery conundrum.

Is shipping on a pallet and going freight not an option? Even if they had to secure it vertically.

It’s a 46-gallon tank for QuadVan and SMB conversions. It can fit other 4x4 vans but they may need the transmission crossmember moved or modified slightly. Transflow used to sell them for Quigley, but QuadVan modified that original design to work for them and SMB, so now it’s sold though QuadVan exclusively.

I knew they made the tank, I just wasn't aware that the 46 gallon offering was 7' long. That's a big one.
