Radio controlled space glider

Saw this article today while on break. "Plucky Swede glides spaceplane to Earth from edge of stratosphere" The video of the flight is about halfway down the page. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/03/14/swedish_glider/

Re: Radio controlled space glider

Amazing. The glider was much smaller than I expected, and I can't believe he was able to maintain his RF connection with only 2W of transmitted power.

He did lose his 2w connection early on and the barely got it back before landing. I am always amazed people's imagination.

Something you dream about doing as a kid and finally do as an adult...very cool. That video should be on Go Pro's video of the week.
